गाँधी राष्ट्रीय स्मारक निधि ; 

The Gandhi Rashtriya Smarak Nidhi was established by the Indian National Congress after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30, 1948. 

In 1949 the Government of India launched a fund raising campaign for the newly established National Gandhi Memorial Trust. The trust is administered by the Central Government and it finances the production of literature, promote his teachings and the maintenance of various sites associated with Mahatma Gandhi during the freedom struggle.

The reverse has the signature of Jivatram Bhagwandas Kripalani (aka Acharya Kripalani and “Acharya” means scholar) in Hindi 
and the text in Urdu translates into “Gandhi Qaumi Yaadgar Fund”.
