An incredible vintage A. Girardeau, France leather travel trunk/case with .950 silver vanity set, early-to-mid twentieth century. Contains:
(1) hand mirror, (1) easle back standing mirror, (1) hair brush, (1) clothes brush, (16) glass jars and bottles of various sizes, (1) shoe horn, (1) Optrex France eye bath, (1) manicure set (including tweezers, cuticle trimmers, nail clippers, nail file, and handled long blade tool), (1) leather comb sleeve (without comb), (1) larger structured box with top handle, and (2) smaller structured boxes with push-button clasp.

Case measures approx. 13"h x 17.25"l x 5.5"w. Total weight of mirrors, brushes, bottles, and jars is approx. 8.8 lbs (140.8 oz). Case and set are in vintage condition, displaying general wear consistent with age/use, including scattered scuffs, rubs, and impressions to the leather, broken clasps to both case interior side brush compartments, heavy silver tarnish, surface scratches to silver and glass elements (especially to the jar/bottle undersides), chips to the hand mirror's beveled edge, cracking and deterioration to the hand mirror's foil, and general cloudiness and residue to the jars/bottles, as well as various scattered imperfections (including isolated chips, flea bites, fractures, and inclusions) - see pictures. This case has no handle or key, its locking mechanism is currently functional. Bottles, jars, and brushes are monogrammed. Case and some other leather elements are embossed in gold "A. Girardeau Paris." Silver elements display French .950 Minerva, "GIRARDEAU," and "AG" maker marks.
