Very carefully reproduced model 1/24 scale sticker sets to spec as seen on the 1998 Jeff Gordon 24A and 24B Daytona Test Cars.

The cars shown are not included, auction is for vinyl stickers only.

HISTORY:

In 1998, Jeff Gordon tested two cars at Daytona Motor Speedway which displayed the listed images.  Before the fancy paint schemes and sponsors made their way to test cars, they were generally all flat black or light gray primer. Car numbers were very crude and in these cars, the two car logos were very different.

The 24A car had a small bright green 24A on the left side justified backwards (toward the front). There were no numbers on the roof and for unknown reasons, the numbers on the right side of the car were actually hand made with bright pink tape. The hood featured a bright green crossbones logo.

The 24B car had all bright red / orange numbers. The roof had a 24 and each side had 24's which were justified in the proper direction and of equal size. The hood had a bright red / orange crossbones logo.

Reproduction diecast cars were never made and these became very popular to make to display in private collections.

Custom sets of these high quality vinyl stickers for the 24A and 24B cars are available in 1/24 or 1/18 scale for you to make these cars yourself. Cars are not included, sticker sets only.

Included are all logos seen in the photos including the matching color line for the bottom edge of the front bumper.
