This is a 5x7, 2019 Topps Now Review card numbered TN-2. It is a very limited short print, (SP), insert/paralell card. This is an inherently RARE card. To enhance the rarity of this card, ONLY 49 of the 5x7's were produced. There is a "serial number" stamped in the bottom right corner indicating it's #44 of 49.
The 2022 season closed, and Ohtani has doubled down and SURPASSED his historic, record-breaking 2021 season. No...not as many home runs, but his pitching stats are leaps and bounds better than 2021. On 9/29/22, Ohtani flirted with his first NO-HITTER for 7 2/3 innings before being thwarted by an Oakland A's rookie. He is the FIRST player in HISTORY to strike out over 200 batters and hit 30+ home runs in the same season. His pitching record as October begins is 15-8; 2.33 ERA; 166 innings pitched; 1.01 WHIP with 216 strikeouts.
He slammed 34 home runs, which falls short of his 46 in '21, but his average is up and he ended up with 95 RBI. He's batted .273 with an OPS of .875.
He is the FIRST player in HISTORY to qualify for the 2022 season League Leaders in BOTH pitching and batting categories. He is in the Top 10 in many of them.
In 2021, Ohtani made drop jaws all around the world Mr. Ohtani completed the GREATEST SEASON EVER by a single player in ANY sport. The card(s) in the scans/pictures is the card you will receive. The card itself is lovely, although I am NOT a professional grader. I can only tell you to study the pictures of the card. My non-professional opinion is that the card is near mint or better. Sharp corners and clean surfaces.
