This Magsafe T connector can be used on any MacBook that uses the MagSafe T connector. Most people are worried about too much power going to the laptop. In practice, it is too little power going to your laptop that cause power problems.
If your original adapter is a 45 watt, 60 watt or 85 watt adapter, you can use this A1172 adapter.
