Vtg 22" Reproduction of Antique Doll By Eleanor Holland Nice Kid Leather Body

Not quite sure how the head was made.  Did not find any markings, but wig is glued down, making it hard to find anything. Appears to be bisque/porcelain.  Nicely hand painted, including eyes.

Head and shoulder plate are integral.  Nice bisque lower arms.  Body is nice Kid leather, with jointed legs.

Has slip, dress, coat, stockings, and black shoes.  Removed coat lining, since it was in shreds.

Measures 22 1/2" tall.

Made by my mother, Eleanor Holland, who was an artist from her youngest years, until a few years before her death (1926-2004), and kept in her personal collection.  My mother not only made dolls, she also repaired antique dolls, as Holland Doll Hospital.

Made in late 1970s, and won third place in doll competition, in 1980.

Stand included.
