Does not fit earlier 1999 to 2001 models with 22" wiper blades.
Wiper blades & MOT
Law changed regarding wiper blades the fronts had to be tested but now the rear is also tested.
You can present your car for MOT 1 calendar month before the actual due date so for example
Car is due MOT on 21st June, you present your car for testing on 21st May.
New cars require testing after 3 years from when they were registered.
If it fails you can normally bring the car back for retesting within 2 weeks without incurring a retest fee.
If it fails before the due date you can still drive the car until the MOT will expire but this is very dodgy ground if you get stopped and questions are asked.
Before taking it for testing you can check things yourself.
Check your wipers work and the washer jets work
Also other tings you can do
Check tyres including spare
Check all lights work, to test rear fog ensure dipped beam is on then switch on the rear fog lamp, some may be a dial you turn and pull, some be a switch.
To check brake lights yourself back your car to a wall or shop window etc and press the brake without the sidelights on if you see red light then you have brake lights, this is not fool proof but a way of doing it yourself.
Mirrors if fitted must be there and not knocked off.
Remove sat navs/fury dice from windscreen
Check seat belts work
Check all doors open and close
