Description
First of all, this is 100% OEM unit and it can be tested at authorized VW service centers. However, this is NOT RETAIL VERSION and has NO ORIGINAL RETAIL BOX OR USER MANUAL. Please fully understand and accept this before placing order.
This head unit is removed from a VW car under the request of our 4S store customer for replacement of a unit with GPS navigation. It is in good conditions without dents or scratches on touchscreen, though there might be slight scratches on the frame. It is guaranteed to work perfectly. It comes with a CODE, which is hand-written on its tag.
Depending on whether there are reserved ports for USB and rear view camera, there are three variants of Delphi RCD510 CD players on the market. Each variants are marketed with several interchangeable model numbers and same features. They can be easily distinguished by checking the connection ports on the back. Below lists the differences of those 3 variants:
- RCD510 Standard, part number: 5ND035195; supports SD card; provided with NO reserved ports for USB or rear view camera ;
- RCD510USB, part number: 5ND035190A/B or 16D035190A/B; supports SD card; provided with reserved port ONLY for USB but NOT for rear view camera ;
- RCD510USBRVC, part number: 56D035190A/B; supports SD card; provided with reserved ports for BOTH USB and rear view camera .

Known Issues
If your vehicle have different CANBUS protocol versions with RCD510 CD players (cars before 2008) or the CANBUS cables are not properly connected, you may have the following problems:
- The RCD510 unit turns off automatically after 30 min/an hour;
- The Bluetooth function is not available though all devices are properly connected;
- The red front panel lights are off.
To solve the problems above, either have the CANBUS properly connected or order a CANBUS simulator to save the efforts.

Shipping and Handling
