This weighty, large flat serving piece, ideal for desserts, cakes, or what you will. European silver functions do not get as specific as American silver.   It is 10” long and 3.25” wide.  Silver weight is 116 grams.  The flat spatula end has a scalloped edge with a raised edge towards the handle. It has a very pretty stylized flower on the handle's tip.

C. T. Haagensen Ronne 1893 – 1937. Rønne is the largest town on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea.  I am offering 3 pieces by this silversmith, all marked with Copenhagen’s “three towers” silver purity mark.  This mark assures solid silver of at least 82.6%.  Under the towers are the last two digits of the year manufactured – this piece was made in 1930.  The piece is also marked by Christian F. Heise, the Copenhagen Assayer from 1904 – 1932.  The silversmith’s probably used Copenhagen as assay town since it is reasonably close to Bornholm.

Combined silver weight in grams: 116

Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No monogram or inscription.  No reportable issues, such as flat spots, nicks, dents, pings, dings, bashes, unusual scratches, bends, monogram removals, carbon spots, or other blemishes. Faint surface abrasions create patina consistent with age and use. Pattern is still crisp and not worn away. Recent thorough hand polish.

Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping. I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials.

Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles.  On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views.

I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description.  The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge. All dimensions and weights approximate. If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase.

Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
