FAT CAT Coloring & Limerick book 1967. Fifteenth printing. This unique coloring book sure is hard-to-find. I'm shipping it from Chicago. If you're in the Midwest, I'm pretty sure it will get to you by Christmas, if ordered by Tuesday, Dec 19.

The cover on this one might be a little faded--that and expected shelfwear due to age are the only ways you can tell it's 55 years old.

According to Wikipedia, artist-designer Malcolm Whyte “founded Troubador Press in 1959 as a job printer and designer/printer of greetings cards.” The San Francisco company published its first book—The Fat Cat Coloring and Limerick Book—in 1967.

This from a blog and Troubador Press: "It’s easy to bash the hippies today, but credit where credit is due: they’re the ones who embraced and cultivated the kind of cerebral sci-fi that led to Roddenberry’s Star Trek and Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, and they’re the ones who pulled The Lord of the Rings into popular culture. “Frodo Lives” was an enduring hippie meme before anyone else knew where Middle Earth was."

There are very few of these FAT CAT coloring/limerick books in the world today. Others are listed at $150 to $500, so I am priced for you Troubador Press Fans and/or Fat Cat Coloring and Limerick Book Fans. NO ONE HAS COLORED IN A SINGLE PAGE OF THIS. It is 9.75: x 12".
