Presenting a stunning vintage pink pressed glass footed compote bowl decorated with a striking Oriental pattern.
This impressive piece is beautifully decorated with a relief pattern featuring a dragon, phoenix bird and double happiness symbol raised to the outer surface of the bowl. The raised pattern magnificently accentuates the sparkle of the delightful pink glass while adding a wonderfully tactile element to the design.
This delightful piece stands proudly atop a wide and stable panelled foot. An elegant scalloped rim to the three part molded bowl perfectly completes this superb example.
SIZE: This impressive compote stands approx 90mms tall and measures 150mms in diameter.
CONDITION: This piece is presented in good vintage condition with just one tiny slither of a chip to the outer top rim noticeable only on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. There are a few straw marks to the glass and the usual rough seams a standard part of the manufacturing process but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and presents magnificently.
