Set of baby items to fit 0 - 3 years. size 16" to 22" knitting pattern NOT the actual items.

This is a reprinted vintage pattern for a collection of baby items. Suitable from birth to 3 years old. I use any double knit wool for this pattern as the suggested wool is no longer available. This means it is essential to work a tension square before making your items to be sure the sizing works out well. 

There is a cardigan, hooded jacket, jumper, bonnet, helmet, mittens and booties. I recently made this for my new Granddaughter and the first size was a little big for her first weeks but she soon grew into it. I have made the bootees many times for charity sales and they look like mini ugg boots when displayed nicely.

This is a simple pattern which makes up quickly and would be suitable for a beginner. I have made the helmet with brightly coloured pompoms in all the sizes and lots of colours over the years.

You will receive a scanned copy of the original pattern which forms part of my collection put together many years ago and I am only sharing it with buyers as a hobby which I hope you will enjoy. I have personally made most of the designs shown in my patterns, they were mainly made for my sons who are now well over 30 years old!  I am now revisiting them to make them for my grandchildren.

I print the patterns onto photo paper so they are pretty robust and place them in a plastic sleeve to protect them. The originals show signs of wear and tear which may be apparent on the one you receive, there may be a coffee cup ring or some notes, where possible I will have edited them to tidy up. It will always be possible to knit your garment with the wear and tear having no impact on your ability to do this.  You may be able to see crease lines where the originals have been folded in my knitting bag but I think this just adds to the charm.
