You are looking at purchasing a brand new and un-used 14 Watt (1050 Lumens) soft white (3500 Kelvin) LED round bulkhead / ceiling ‘Polo’ light (model number:- LTPMSW) with built in microwave movement sensor (ideal for stairways or corridors in older peoples property) made by the famous ‘LED LITE’ Company.

 

The Polo light has an energy rating of A+ and is IP44 rated, the unit operates from 220 – 240Vac and measures 326mm round x 108mm high. The light comes with a ‘white’ decorative Polo outer ring and a ‘glossy brass’ coloured Polo outer ring so you can select your style of decor ! The bulkhead Polo light comes supplied in its original retail box complete with the original instructions and it has been P.A.T. Tested with no faults found.

 

These bulkhead / ceiling LED LITE was purchased by my late Father with the intent of up-dating his hall lighting but un-fortunately he passed away at the young age of 99 years before they were installed and now they are sadly surplice to his requirement on the other side !

 

The ‘Polo’ bulkhead / ceiling light model number LTPMSW measures approximately 326mm across x 108mm high and has a frosted light diffuser dome whilst having a light output of 1050 lumens with a colour temperature of 3500 Kelvin (soft white) which is generated from some 66 bright LED’s on the gear tray.

 

This particular round Polo ceiling / bulkhead light fitting incorporates a microwave movement sensor which is ideally suited to older peoples hall ways or stair ways and corridors etc where the lighting comes on automatically without the need for fumbling to find  the light switch in the dark !

 

The microwave movement sensor operates at a frequency of 5.8GHz (ISM Band) with an output power of 0.2mW. The light unit can be ceiling mounted from a height of between 2 – 5m with a 360 degree coverage area whilst it can also be wall mounted from a height of between 1 – 2m.

 

The microwave module is ‘darkness activated’ so it only operates at dusk or night, this level of light Activation can be adjusted by the internally mounted ‘lux level’ screwdriver trimmer from between 10 lux and 2000 lux.

 

The bulkhead light (when triggered) can be set for an ‘on time’ of between 10 seconds and 30 minutes depending on the setting made to the internally mounted ‘time adjustment’ screwdriver trimmer.

 

The microwave trigger sensitivity can be adjusted from between 2m sensitivity up to 16m (when ceiling mounted) and up to 8m (when wall mounted) sensitivity depending on how large an area you wish to cover, this is set by the internally mounted ‘sensitivity adjustment’ screwdriver trimmer.

 

The LED LITE ‘Polo’ bulkhead / ceiling light is made from tough glossy white plastic and incorporates a domed and frosted light aperture. The overall light fitting is IP44 rated and intended for indoor use only.

 

The Polo light fitting can be installed having a glossy white surrounding Polo ring or I have included a glossy brass Polo ring which could be fitted instead depending on your choice. These extra coloured Polo rings are normally sold separately for around £6.00 each but included here with the light fitting for free !

 

The light fitting has several ceiling mounting holes built into the bulkhead plate and comes complete with 4x raw plugs and 4x screws, cable entry is via a silicon pre-fitted grommet, there is also a further 20mm cable entry hole which can be knocked out and used if so desired.

 

The top domed housing is easily removed by turning anti clockwise to release the cover, this reveals the multi LED gear tray which when un-clipped hinges down revealing the LED power supply, microwave movement sensor and power cable terminal block thus allowing easy screw terminal connection of the Live, Neutral and Earth power wires.

 

The LED LITE fitting operates from standard UK 220 - 240Vac mains electricity and consumes around 16 Watts of power with a maximum input of 100mA whilst the microwave sensor consumes around 0.9 Watts in standby mode, the bulkhead light unit has an overall energy rating of A+. The light fitting is a class II construction so does not require an Earth; the fitting is IP44 rated, can be used in temperatures between -20°C to +40°C, is CE approved and weighs approximately 1kg.

 

The bulkhead / ceiling light has been fully electrically P.A.T. tested with no faults reported.
