LEW'S CANE POLE.  Made for sale by LEW CHILDRE & SANDERS INC of Foley, Alabama.  Made in KYUSHU, JAPAN. Model 6-102.

This 10 foot pole is 2 piece (2 five foot pieces) with metal ferrule connector in the middle (there are no guides or eyelets).  It is still in it's original package, which was only a heavy piece of shrink wrapped clear plastic (approx. 14") at one end to hold the pieces together and put the sales label on.  It also has the gold sticker label on the rod near the butt end of the heavier piece. 

Made from a nice piece of perfectly straight bamboo this rod had been stored well and remains straight today.  The rod and packaging show decades of dust and handling.  I have only wiped off the dust and did not want to do any cleaning that would disturb it's age/patina.
