The BDR-X13J series satisfies the need for a high-speed, high-performance, half-height external drive for PCs without optical drives, conventional tower desktop PCs, and home-built PCs, instead of a portable type. The high-speed recording and playback and dust-proof performance are not limited to personal use, but also contribute to business use to improve work efficiency.
It is also ideal for storing electronic transaction data in accordance with the revision of the ◎Dencho Law (Electronic Bookkeeping Law).
Supports high-speed, high-precision 16x recording to BD-R and large-capacity BDXL (triple- and quad-layer)
The BDR-X13JBK can record to and play back BD (25GB single-layer media, 50GB dual-layer media) and all BDXL-compliant discs (BD-R XL: 100GB triple-layer media, BD-R XL: 128GB quad-layer media, BD-RE XL: 100GB triple-layer media)*. BD-RE XL: 100GB of triple-layer media. In addition, BD-R can be recorded at 16x, BD-R DL at 14x, BD-R TL (triple layer) at 8x, and BD-R QL (quad layer) at 6x. It is also possible to switch between 16x high-speed write mode and normal use mode. When high-speed writing is more important than quietness, such as for disc copying, you can rest assured that all settings can be set to the high-speed write mode, which can be optimized for reliable writing at high speed. For normal use, the standard mode can be selected, which places more emphasis on quietness, stability, and recording quality.
In addition, recording and playback speeds are increased on some discs.
