For sale is "JAZZ CRITICS' CHOICE," CL 2126, Mono, Promo, 1964. With Lester Young, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Teddy Wilson, Bessie Smith, others.

SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Side A has a few ticks and a bit of surface noise in spots. Not too bad -- would be VG on its own. Side B plays near-perfectly, lovely sound.

VINYL: VG
I graded the vinyl conservatively, there is routine wear and handling on side A, but no feel-able marks. Side B is in NM condition. White 2-eye promo labels are clean and bright with a few spindle-marks.

JACKET: EX
Beautiful condition, clean and bright front and back. Edges and corners in very nice shape. A sticker upper-left front, and a "promo" banner across the bottom back cover.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

Buy-it-now for $12.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
