This -  I believe to be Red Wing Stoneware Tie Ring Glazed Preserve jar in the largest 2 gallon size- As per the Red Wing Book in the 1st photo- and the last 2 pics are the description in the book-  Last photos show that the 2 gallon has been seen, but not available for photographing...see pics-

Measurements are in the photos- 11 inches tall- and bottom of jar is 9 inches

I did put 2 gallons of water in the jar- and it was about an inch down from the top of the shoulder.

Very minimal use on this- Its a beauty- You can see finger marks in opening rim on top from the person doing the glazing that day.

Lots of photos for you to see- The wooden lid / cover is most likely not original- but very old- and included.
