It goes into the microwave to hold a bowl that

you are heating. When you are done reheating

(no longer than 2-3 minutes) grab the corners of

the holder and remove. Your fingers or hands never

touch anything hot. Thus no chance of burns.

Also works for cold items like holding a bowl of ice cream to

help protect from the cold.
