Northern Lights" paperweight bear or bear sculpture by Danny Vargas who has a studio in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Vargas is originally from Mexico and is a master glassblower. This bear is made with molten glass and is infused with irridescent strands making it look as if the virtual Northern Lights are reflected within. It is a very meditating design. The bear is the most powerful image of Native Americans in Canada and the US. Fully signed with Arte Vargas on the bottom. Approx size is 4.75’’across (nose to tail) by 3.25’’high.
