 HARVEY WALLBANGER HAT & PIN

FOAM STRUCTURED MESH TRUCKER SNAPBACK

LATER ASSOCIATED WITH THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS 1982 WORLD SERIES TEAM

(COACH HARVEY KUENN)

Can you imagine a (essentially a Screwdriver) cocktail so popular that it garnered an impressive amount of write-in votes in the 1972 Presidential election? Although most young adults have never heard of it, back in the day the Harvey Wallbanger was a staple cocktail at virtually every bar. This hat and pin were part of its election 'campaign.'

In 1982, the Milwaukee Brewers led the league in runs and home runs and earned the nickname Harvey's Wallbangers, a reference to their manager, Harvey Kuenn. The Brewers beat the California Angels in the ALCS and took the St. Louis Cardinals to seven games in the World Series.
