Condition Grading Scale:
(M) Mint – Perfect condition; no excuses. No scratches and surface is clean.
(NM) Near Mint – Looks like it has never been played without a sleeve. No scratches. Small allowances can be made, but generally shows no wear. May have a few minor spots.
(EX) Excellent – Looks as if it may have been played for a few games without a sleeve. Usually have a couple white spots at the corners or around the border. The surface may have minor scratches, that are visible upon closer inspection. Cannot be excellent if the creases are so deep that they are visible upon first sight.
(GD) Good – May have been used for a long tournament without sleeves. Usually, will show strong wear all around the card. The edges and corners have many white spots, the surface usually has scratches and the card usually has accumulated some dirt on the surface. Only damaged from normal game play. Will not have water damage or bends whatsoever.
(LP) Light Played – Will look as if it has been used without sleeves for an extended period of time. Legal for play in a sleeved deck. Not been tampered with (inked border, random scribblings on card, etc.).
(PL) Played – Looks as bad as you can get a card through regular use without sleeves. Not been tampered with (inked border, random scribblings on the card, etc.).
Poor – The card has damage that cannot normally have stemmed from regular use of the card. Card is literally destroyed and/or has been tampered with in ways that destroy its worth almost completely (inked border, random scribblings on card, etc.).
