Product Key Information

You will need to buy your OWN product key, UNLESS your PC/laptop has one already.

(If your PC/Laptop is manufactured by a company ( Dell, HP, Asus, Lenovo, or etc) you won’t need a product key. (unless older than Window Vista, (older than Windows Vista product keys are invalid).

You can also USE Windows 8, 8.1, and 7 product keys if you own one. 

Any Windows 10 product keys will works (Windows Home, Pro, N, or etc)

Knowing How to Recover Your Product Key/ More Information

If you have a Windows 7, you will need to enter your product key (look for a sticker of you license/product key) and enter it in the selection when it asks you for it.

If you PC/Laptop is newer than Windows 8 (Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10), your PC/Laptop will automatically detect it when going through the Windows 10 reinstallation (it will not ask you for the product key if automatically detected).

If you have a custom built, if it still asks for your product key, try to go back to the website/place that you bought it from to retrieve it.

If you don’t have a product key, click on “I don’t have a product key”, and continue.

Instructions

Recommended: Go to Bios, go to boot menu, boot priority, or etc, and select the usb (name example: PNY or etc).

If you have to change the boot priority/list make the external drive, USB, or etc to the first list/option.

Second option: If your PC/Laptop is not locked you can install Windows 10 by inserting the USB on the PC/Laptop and opening setup by looking for it on file explorer.(May only works for Windows 10 or Windows 8) ( if this doesn’t work, please use the recommended option)

Tips and Information

It can help to unlock Windows PCs/Laptop that are locked (warning: it will delete all your data and reinstall windows 10).

If you have important files/data you will need to backup the files(you will need to delete everything after you reinstall Windows).

This flash drive is to install Windows 10 to a blank/empty hard drive (hdd/ssd).
