Lovely baby set with a jumper, cardigan and leggings. Suitable for boy or girl.

I love the lettering design on this pattern that means you can add the child's name.

It is an easy pattern, good for those who have not had lots of practice. the fireisle sections look complicated on the finished garment but are simple to follow on the instructions with a basic graph to follow. You can choose to knit the letters into the garment or swiss darn them onto the finished cardigan. This basic graph is a good way to start with doing this style of knitting and once the technique is mastered you will be able to take on projects with pictures which is great fun.

This is a vintage pattern. I use any double knit wool for this pattern as the suggested wool is no longer available. This means it is essential to work a tension square before making your items to be sure the sizing works out well.

You will receive a scanned copy of the original pattern which forms part of my collection put together many years ago and I am only sharing it with buyers as a hobby which I hope you will enjoy. I have personally made most of the designs shown in my patterns, they were mainly made for my sons who are now well over 30 years old!

I print the patterns onto photo paper so they are pretty robust and place them in a plastic sleeve to protect them. The originals show signs of wear and tear which may be apparent on the one you receive, there may be a coffee cup ring or some notes, where possible I will have edited them to tidy up. It should always be possible to knit your garment with the wear and tear having no impact on your ability to do this.  You may be able to see crease lines where the originals have been folded in my knitting bag but I think this just adds to the charm. This one has no creases or marks visible.
