Any terrain I have been on, this boot was up to the task. In fact I love it so much I just ordered another pair, just in case it is discontinued eventually or sold out of my size. I love the boots because they are light weight and very supportive. They are just as comfortable as my other Ariats. Great in the saddle and walking! My previous Terrain boots lasted many years. -Jolly 5 years ago: Love there comfort and toughness I previously had the regular terrain h2o, time to upgrade. I have had these about 2 weeks now, I absolutely love them. I wear them for about 14 hrs a day, they go from being in the office to out at the barn, riding or hosing down horses to doing stalls and they last and are so so comfortable and my feet are dry and comfortable. I do 5-8 day adventure rides all over the world where weather changes, boots must "meet the muster", walking over a difficult area is possible, comfort at the end of the day is essential. These boots give me total confidence. I left my last Ariat's over in Oman, knowing that I needed to move up to full water proof. They had served me well. I highly recommend these top of the line boots for anyone who wants to know they are as secure as possible in all conditions. (and they look great!)
