Gorgeous antique Mappin & Webb Princes Plate aspargus serving tongs, c. late 19th century, Victorian era. Feature silverplate tong ends with reticulated and etched detailwork. Measures approx. 10.75"l. In good/fair antique condition, displaying light tarnish and surface scratches to the silver plate, and some discoloration and cracks to the handle, as well as notched imperfections (including where the thumb tab makes contact with the handle when pressed down) - see pictures. Top half of tongs wobbles slightly. Stamped "Mappin & Webb / Princes Plate/ Rd 71552."
