The TX-NR5100 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver from Onkyo provides a wide array of features to let you enjoy high-end movie, music, and gaming content. Four HDMI 2.1 inputs support up to 8K60 or 4K120 resolutions with dynamic HDR for stunning visuals and smooth gaming. Simplified Audio with eARC
Using eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), you can send audio from your built-in TV apps and connected devices back across a compatible HDMI cable to play it through the speakers you have attached to the TX-NR5100. This gives you support for Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X, and Dolby TrueHD audio formats.

Built-In Streaming
You can find and stream music through the TX-NR5100 receiver using the Onkyo Control app for Apple and Android devices, or dedicated apps like Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn, and Pandora.
Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer
You can experience immersive sound even without a true Dolby Atmos setup. When playing any Dolby format through traditional speakers, the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer simulates the height effect of Atmos.

Voice Control
Working with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, the TX-NR5100 gives you voice control over your audio from compatible 3rd party devices throughout your home.

Klipsch Optimized
Onkyo worked closely with Klipsch to equip the TX-NR5100 with precise crossover values to make this receiver integrate seamlessly with an existing Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker system.

Sonos Certified
Whether you're starting a new Sonos system using an optional Sonos Port or already have an existing Sonos home sound system, you'll be able to remotely manage it using Sonos Volume-Pass Through on the mobile Sonos app. Use it to wake devices, change inputs, and play your content at specific volumes.

AccuEQ Calibration Ready
Helping you streamline your home theater setup, AccuEQ calibrates the TX-NR5100 and your speakers to ensure that you get the best performance for your space. It calculates speaker distance from your listening position, adjusts the speaker's sound pressure level, and sets the speakers crossover. The result is clear and balanced surround sound.

DTS Play-Fi Ready
Multi-room audio playback is possible when using DTS Play-Fi and the Onkyo Music Control app with a compatible Apple or Android mobile device. Using compatible devices throughout your home, you can play music from a variety of sources to every room simultaneously, or to a specific group of rooms. You can stream from popular online services, networked media servers in your home, or other devices you may own over Wi-Fi.

Smart Home Compatible
The receiver can to integrate with your smart home devices, such those supporting Apple AirPlay, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant; letting you use your voice to manage your entertainment.

Bi-Directional Bluetooth
You can stream content to play through the receiver from a compatible Bluetooth-equipped mobile device, or stream from the receiver to optional Bluetooth headphones. Receive audio in SBC and AAC, and send audio through the receiver with SBC, aptX, and 24-bit aptX HD.

Dynamic Audio Amplification
Onkyo has worked on DAA (Dynamic Audio Amplification) for decades, incorporating a custom high-current low-noise power transformer, customized capacitors, and discrete amp output stages. This unique topology drives 4-ohm loads through all channels and is made to prevent phase-shift while high current improves speaker control for true dynamic speed.
