This incredible necklace is from the Nolan Miller Glamour Collection. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime, fairy tale, Cinderella piece.

Here's the story of its origin: Nolan Miller was at the home of Elizabeth Taylor, designing a new gown for her. She took out her original necklace that was done in real diamonds, and showed Mr. Miller, explaining that this necklace was the one she planned to wear with the new gown. Mr. Miller asked Ms. Taylor if she would grant him permission to copy it, and of course, she was delighted. The last image above is a photo of her own necklace, along with the coordinating earrings.

I hardly know where to begin in describing it. The stones... ohhhh those stones... they truly look like diamonds, and are highly faceted and hand-placed. Done in a stunning floral motif of flower petals and leaves and set in a wonderful, feminine openwork in gorgeous antiqued silver electroplate. At the front the central flower is the largest, and flanked on each size by one that is slightly smaller, and then completely surrounding the necklace all the way to the back are even smaller flowers. Approximate measurements: length 18", width at the front flower is 1-1/4". This is a somewhat weighty piece at almost 140 grams. Closes with a locking foldover clasp that is in the shape of a textured leaf which beautifully and impeccably finishes the design. When it was offered at QVC, it was item number J8769, but has now been retired and is no longer available. Original price with tax and shipping was $250. Signed and brand new. Made in the USA.
