This beautiful linen French sheet has so much fabulous hand needlework!
Wonderfully detailed hand embroidered Art Deco style monogram BF. Sheets date sound 1930-40's. Many different techniques used in the wonderful wide embroidery that goes across and turns the side of the sheet for 28".
Lovely white woven linen heavy soft floppy hand. May have a touch of cotton blend but mostly linen for sure!
Condition: Overall excellent for age and use! One very small  spots that I note and one place where weave is thin, not sure if it was always that way just something to keep an eye on.   See last photos.
Freshly washed and hung in the sun to dry ( we had a 60 degree day and sun in February!).

Approximate measurements: 91” wide x 128” long.  3.9 lbs!

Lovely to use as is or Appropriate to repurpose for many projects. These lovely sheets make wonderful window curtains, shower curtains, tablecloths, duvets and more!

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
