1930s 1940s MENS RUDOFKER TUXEDO JACKET ANTIQUE COAT USA SIZE 40 AFTER SIX.

This listing is for a Tuxedo jacket (no pants included). The color is black and his has a contrasting brown lapel.

Based on the Union tag it dates somewhere between late 1930s to early 1940s. There is no material tag so fabric is unknown. The size is handwritten on a tag that reads 40XL. It’s very important to check the measurements I am providing as sizes may have changed through the years.

This is older and it smells like a jacket that has been stored for 80 years. It smells much like walking into an Antique store. But no smoke or any unusual foul smells. Overall for the age it’s in very good condition. There is a tiny spot on the lapel (circled in photos) that feels like a tiny snag but I’m not certain. It will need cleaning but it’s been well taken care of.

Measurements are taken laying flat:

Chest: 41”

Sleeves: 27”

Shoulders: 18.5”

Waist: 38” (approximate because it doesn’t button)

Length from top of shoulders to end of tail: 48.5”
