Lot of 7 Vintage 1955-1961 WHITMAN CHILDREN'S CLASSICS Series Books. These 5 1/2" x 7 3/4", 138-284 page books have illustrated covers and several internal illustrations. The books are in Acceptable to Very Good condition, with the covers showing a few with laminate chipping and other edge and corner wear, Treasure Island with front laminate gone and a vertical scratch and soiling on the front, a couple with signs of the removed original price sticker on the front and other moderate signs of soiling; and with the interiors showing Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm with a couple of names on the front end papers and slightly weakened hinges, The Little Lame Prince with a book plate on the front free end paper, a few with faint signs of erased pencil pricing at the front and Eight Cousins with a worm hole into the closed book outer page edges, while all are otherwise quite clean and tight.
