Photograph Notes: The currently closed Rock Tavern's car park is on the opposite side of Wilden Lane, and it is here that the pub's sign is to be found. Its faded and decaying appearance was not likely to encourage what little passing trade there might be, so it is to be hoped that if a new owner can be found, they will make the provision of a new sign a priority. [[1563126]]. Update: the pub re-opened in November 2011. This sign currently remains, but there is new signage on the pub building. Shortly after the re-opening, the Tetley Bitter sign was replaced by a new sign. See:- [[2746295]].
