Derbyshire Blue John Sterling Silver Round Link Bracelet

We have for sale a stunning sterling silver Blue John bracelet. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. This elegant bracelet features 13 round links, each set with a totally unique piece of Blue John. It measures approx. 20.5cm (including fasten) and fastens with a lobster clasp. 

Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
