The Dandy Comic No. 1492 - June 27th 1970, My Home Town: Aberystwyth, Wales, VG
Vibrant colours. Light to medium tanning to the pages with a few minor edge tears in places, the worst being 8mm approx. No loose pages. The odd area of foxing spots/stains in places. Minor spine wear with a bit of rubbing top and bottom. A few light creases/former corner folds in places.
Between 1962 and 1970, The Dandy ran a feature called 'My Home Town', where readers wrote in with interesting or unusual facts about their own home town. The winner had their town featured and won a prize of their choice. This week it was Aberystwyth. If you're wondering whether your own home town featured, please get in touch. A Very Good example, which would be a welcome addition to any collection. Please look at the pictures to get a better idea of the condition. Will be put in a comic bag and sent in a card backed envelope.
