In the manner of Edgar Brandt, totally in the Art Deco taste and period.

An outstanding hand forged rose, all hand made and hammered, in a heavy thick iron, sealed on a green enameled iron base.

Oval shape.

Can be used as a masterpiece collection or wall decoration, or paperweight.

Edgar Brandt ( 1880-1960 ) French ironworker.


Brandt's work was acknowledged by the American Association of Architects making him an honorary member in 1929.

No signature detected.

I cleaned it.

To get hired in such important workshop , such as Edgar Brandt , any employee was given a small piece to do, to know his ability before getting hired.

I believe this is a sample.

Edgar Brandt in his peak ( beginning 1920 ) , hired over 150 iron makers.
