Toms Hit Mix is super popular in Denmark. It is a sweet and fruity mix of liquorice, wine gums, coconut layers & sugar-coated pellets (dragees) in miniature bite-sized pieces. About Toms Toms was founded in 1924 by two business partners, Trojel and Meyer. Their first product was pastilles in an elegant box. Victor B. Strand bought Toms in the 40's and made the company blossom after WW II. The success was driven by popular sellers, such as the Gold Bar (Guld Barre), chocolate turtles (Toms Kæmpe Skildpadde) and Yankie Bar. By the 1970’s they were one of the most widely recognised confectionery producers in Denmark. Ingredients Sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, WHEAT FLOUR, syrup, modified corn and potato starch , fully hydrogenated vegetable fat (Palm kernel, coconut), coconut, humectant (glycerol), emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), gelatine, flavourings, Thickener (Gum arabic), liquorice root extract, salt, acidifier (malic acid), colouring (Carmine, curcumin, copper complexes of chlorophyll), vegetable oil (Coconut, rapeseed), glazing agent (Carnauba wax, beeswax, shellac), maltodextrin from corn, cocoa powder, malt extract FROM BARLEY, antioxidant (ascorbic acid).
