Installation Tips / Instructions:


  • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove all contaminations visible, **car wax****ceramic coating**and all other types of paint protection treatment BEFORE installing. DO NOT intall weather shields under the rain, or wet weather. Please note this is a very important step for installing weather shields, the weather shields (3M tape) otherwise will not stick on the door properly. ATTENTION the 3M tape will be NOT sticky AT ALL after touching water, also car wax, ceramic coating, or other paint treatment material. 
(ATTENTION EXTRA NotesFor customers who bought a brand new vehicle, or a 2nd hand vehicle from a car dealer, please note your dealer might got the vehicle waxed or ceramic coating BEFORE hand over to you. Please make sure to remove all paint treatment as we mentioned above before fitting - this is one of our practical experiences for 15+ years when servicing our local on-site customers).

  • ***Once the surface has been cleaned thoroughly, apply the ADHESION PROMOTER PAD suppied in the package on the suface where the weather shields going to attach. After applying the adhesion promoter pad, wait between half a minute and a minute and a half for the adhesion promoter to dry. Once dried, it is ready to accept the 3M tape, and you now have a very thin layer for the adhesive to stick to that allows for a more secure bond with adhesives.
  • Use a file cleaner or fingernail to easily peel the red protective liner off the tape.
  • ***For an optimal long-term adhesive outcome, please use a heat gun, or a very strong hair dryer to HEAT the surface of 3M tape thoroughly after peeling off the liner. DO NOT let any contaminations stick to the tape. This will enhance tape stickiness to become stronger.
  • Apply pressure for 30 seconds+ across the tape after installing the weather shields on the vehicle, that facilitates optimal adhesive onto door frames.

 

Please DO follow exact steps above for preventing the weather shield from flying off.

We accept a FULL Return with return postage if items are:

  •  Faulty, Doesn't work or defective

  • Arrived damaged

 - must provide 3-5 photos showing damages sustained to the item and parcel box within 24 hours once RECEIVING, please inspect parcels thoroughly upon receiving it.

We accept a PARTIAL return for items if items are:

All items sell exactly as described, items will fit 100% AS DESCRIBED if buyers match the EXACT MODEL of their car provided in item pictures and item descriptions. For example, if a customer bought a car part for 2005-2015 N70 model Toyota Hilux while the customer's car is a 2015-2023 N80 model Hilux, then it will be the customer's fault.
