Covers show soiling, wear and bumped and bent corners.

All 142 pages are intact and tight on the staples.

Both front and back covers have come away from the spine about a half an inch at the top and bottom.

Soiling and wrinkles on the page edges and a few inside pages but overall the inside pages are clean.

Stamped on the front cover  is Ben F. Jensen, Congressman, 7th Iowa District.

This must have been a giveaway of some sort as it is published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Home Economics.
