These items are in very good working and physical condition. Each cable was carefully removed from working systems. These flat ribbon cables have two female connectors made up of 40 pin hole conductors each. One connector is for attaching devices like IDE harddrives, CD ROM, etc... The second connector fits onto the motherboard of your desktop computer. The length of each cable is approximate. Some may be an inch longer than stated.
