There was a comment about bit security and carrying the Leatherman Style with the combo bit in the holder?
Response - ...when I designed the leatherman bit holder the balance of bit security was considered. The balance was determined that if too tight, it was too difficult to remove the bit from the holder so that other features could be used on the Leatherman Style, for example The bottle opener and use of the carabiner bale.
I determined that if the bit was desired to be left in the Leatherman then you can use the carabiner bale to capture the bottom of the bit when inserting the bit and that will tension the bit for more security.
