Photograph Notes: The track in the foreground is coming from the Media City tram stop, which is the only stop on this short extension of just under a quarter of a mile. The turn off to the left leads to the Broadway stop and Eccles. The track on the right leads to the Harbour City stop and onward to Manchester City Centre via Cornbrook. The trackwork in this area is designed to allow trams to enter and leave the extension in either direction, even though the extension is single track.
