A superb 19c French white marble and ormolu figural clock dating to C1890. The 8 day movement with half and full hour striking on a bell in good working order. The back plate stamped for "Miroy" a well respected Paris clock maker. The gilt dial also signed for "Sarl of Cornhill who would have been the retailer. The ormolu has retained its original gilding which is in very good order. There are some small areas of discolouration to the marble but no damage and does not detract from the wonderful decorative appeal of this clock. Standing 14 inches high[36cm] x 19 ins wide[48cm] x 6 ins deep[16cm]. It stands on very large original ormolu dish feet which are adjustable. A fine example of a very decorative French clock in good working order complete with matching numbered pendulum, bell and winding key. This is a very heavy clock so postage will reflect and collection would be preferred but i might be able to deliver for fuel cost or meet half way.
