Donald Stannard~ Assigned by the American auction houses as one of the greatest American designers of all time, Stannard jewelry pieces are becoming hard to find vintage treasures.
He started his own line after working for Kenneth Jay Lane in the 1960’s. His solo career began in 1972 and he gained popularity when he was mentioned in Vogue Magazine. Stannard then became known for his designs being used in Broadway plays, TV shows such as Dynasty, and being worn by the rich and famous such as Arlene Dahl and Joan Collins among others. Since his death in 2006, his designs have become highly sought after.
