IMPORTANT: Please note that some laptop manufacturers use DIFFERENT SCREENS in the same model laptops, so please don't purchase this screen based on compatibility information found online. If you want to be sure that you are buying the part that you need you will require the Model Number of the LCD, which can always be found on the manufacturer's label on the back of the panel. The Model Number consists of the manufacturer's code and the screen size. The initial letters indicate the manufacturer and the following three numbers corresponds to the screen size.

Examples of Model Number:

CLAA154WA02B - "CLAA" indicates a Chunghwa LCD, "154" indicates it is a 15.4″ panel

B156XW01 V.0* - "B" indicates an AU Optronics LCD, "156" indicates it is a 15.6″ panel

LTN160AT01-A01* - "LTN" indicates a Samsung LCD, "160" indicates it is a 16″ panel

LQ164M1LA4A B * - "LQ" indicates a Sharp LCD, "164" indicates it is a 16.4" panel

LP171W01 (A4) (K1) * - "LP" indicates an LG Philips LCD, "171" indicates it is a 17.1″ panel

Other manufacturer codes include "QD" for Quanta Display, "N" for Chi Mei Optoelectronics, "LTD" for Toshiba, etc.
