This belt buckle was a collaboration by the artist and myself to commemorate the opening of my store in Niwot, CO. It is so beautiful but I have never worn it. I am so short and the buckle is not comfortable for me. As much as I love looking at it, I would rather someone enjoy wearing it! Another leather can be used as it snaps off.
I supplied the Boulder opal, antique bird tin and painted vines. Nancy Anderson did the rest. She is so talented! The metal is sterling silver and it also features carved stone flowers as well as a hand painted ombré belt. The belt is backed in dark brown suede. It is truly one of a kind!
