Antique Sandwich Glass INVERTED FERN Pattern Glass Covered Butter Dish, The Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, MA., c. 1860 - 70. This is a very pretty pattern manufactured by the Sandwich Glass Co., made from 1860 to 1870. This covered butter dish is a flint glass version, with a fine rib body and clear base.  This pattern is listed in Metz #281.
