Description:- Vintage Edwardian Radford Staffordshire Saucers & Tea Plates - SOLD AS SEENEEN
Comprising
six by 5.5 inch diameter saucers
four by 7 inch plates
Condition:- The china is sold in used condition; one saucer and one plate do not 'ring' when tapped, the saucer has an obvious hairline and other scratch and the plate has got areas of discolouration. Some of the other pieces have frit marks and other manufacturing and firing flaws. Some rubbing to the gilding
Maker:- Printed marks underneath to all but one saucer for Samuel Radford Ltd of Fenton Staffordshire , the Radfordian mark was used circa 1913 to 1924 according to Goddens.
