Description

Hasegawa 1/450 Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Shinano Plastic Model Z03

At 266 meters in length, the "Shinano" was the largest aircraft carrier in the medieval world during World War II. It was a heavily armored supercarrier converted from the third ship of the battleship "Yamato" type, the construction of which had been stalled. It was the world's largest aircraft carrier at the time of World War II, but was sunk by a lightning attack from the U.S. submarine "Archer Fish" just 10 days after its completion.
The kit faithfully reproduces the powerful appearance of the aircraft carrier, including the vast flight deck, large island-shaped bridge, and numerous anti-aircraft weapons, based on the latest data. Many types of shipboard aircraft are also included.
As an entry-level model, the number of parts has been kept to a minimum while ensuring precision, making the model both impressive after completion and easy to build. Support parts are included to ensure the hull is securely assembled, making it easy even for first-time plastic modelers to assemble.
This is a great way to enjoy building high-detail ship models with ease.
