A fabulous group of four German or Austrian hand drawn sketches, 19th and/or 20th century. Include:
1 sheet with ballet dancer and gentleman, graphite, matted, sheet approx. 6.75"h x 8.5"w
1 sheet with pair of gentlemen conversing, graphite, loose, approx. 8"h x 6"w
1 sheet, double sided, with various character types on recto and elderly housekeeper on verso, ink and graphite, loose, approx. 9"h x 5.5"w
In fair/poor condition, displaying general yellowed toning, tape residue and adhesive acid burns, sheet creases and puckering, and scattered tears with some losses, the one mat also displays tape strip and glue residue - see pictures. Sheets display various inscriptions.
In good/fair antique condition, displaying even sheet toning with some spots of yellowish discoloration (mainly to the drawing's whitened areas), as well as residual tape on the sheet's verso, with tape acid burn and surface tears - see pictures. Artist monogram "A. N." to bottom left corner.
