This 1924 Vega-phone 4 string banjo is in excellent condition for a piece that's almost 90 years old.

Serial # 65456.

I had planned to convert this to a 5 string but a hand injury and other things have put it in the back of my shop for years...

The rare larger pot tension ring is 11 7/8 ID-12 1/4 OD with 30 tension lugs.

Grover 'Presto" Tailpiece. and original tuners.
