Offered for sale is a wonderful (and hard to find) example of a cast iron and tin, donkey cart "Dray with Star Wheels" toy, manufactured c.1920's, probably by Wilkins Toy Co. It measure about 8" long x 2 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" high, and is complete, original, and in excellent+ condition:  the painted tin dray retains 90% of its original red paint finish and its original wire 'tailgate,' the unique cast iron star wheels likewise retain near 90% of their original yellow paint finish, and the cast iron donkey retains 80%+ of its gold and black paint finishes.  There is no damage to the toy, other than play wear and some areas of paint loss (with consequent surface oxidation); there are no dents, cracks, breaks, or repairs. 

This is a pretty scarce toy, valued at $300 for an example rated C6 (this toy rates higher, between a C7 and a C8) in the 12th edition of O'Brien's "Collecting Toys."
